Make a difference, Swiss are going to vote on it and show to the whole world it is possible!! This is pre-campaigning time! If you believe in Unconditionnal Basic Income, there is a good window to shoot. Help them !

Swiss citizens will vote on Basic Income in a year or two. in the mean time there is a lot of work needed to get all people to understand it. The team already collected 100.000 signatures to get Basic Income on the official agenda. They need to continue their effort!

To all those in here who argue that Basic Income is not necessary, or simply don't believe jobs are disappearing I collected a few examples of why I believe BI will eventually take over our current welfare systems. - Self-service computers are replacing retail and receptionist jobs already - Warehouse jobs are already on the slide - Driving jobs are next to go - Vertical farming will mix up the agriculture industry - 3D printing will begin to disrupt the manufacturing industry in 15-20 years - 3D printed buildings are next in line - AI will eventually take over much of the medical industry - Robots are already beginning to take over delicate operations - Robots are also destined to take over military operations and even police roles in the future - Don't forget planes, both military and civilian, already pilots are only used on commercial airlines for take-off and landing only unless there are complications

I presume I need not mention the jobs bitcoin's technology can potentially replace.

These were just the jobs I could think of from the top of my head, there are more under threat if you dig around enough, sure these changes won't happen over-night, but if you honestly believe that the world can still work without basic income in some form 20 years from now I think you're deluded.

It is ironic though that Bitcoin could potentially make implementing such a model difficult, but when the demand is big enough things will have to head in that direction.
